Visitor address
The main entrance is on Moritzburger Landstraße, beside the office building and visitor parking. The funeral hall is further inside the grounds. Use the visitor address for the journey, then the plot section or venue for the walk within the cemetery.
Bus and tram
The Heidefriedhof stop is directly on Moritzburger Landstraße. Bus routes 80 and 477 serve it; the suitable journey and platform depend on your direction and any diversions. Tram 3 terminates at Wilder Mann. An additional walk is required from there; the operator estimates about ten minutes. Allow longer if you walk slowly.
Current departures and service notices for Heidefriedhof from DVBParking and choosing an entrance
Visitor parking is available at the main entrance. Observe the signs and any maximum stay; the map does not show vacant spaces. Parking by the entrance does not permit driving through the grounds. Contact the office if you require special vehicle access.
Other gates and footpaths are mapped for approaches through the surrounding Junge Heide. For a first visit, an office appointment or a funeral, the main entrance is the clearest meeting point. One of the side woodland entrances has limited wheelchair access.
From the gate to your destination
Use the Cemetery map to find the hall, toilets, memorials and Pond of Remembrance. If you need a short or step-free approach, discuss the actual destination with the office on +49 351 8498958. Allow time to leave before the grounds close.
