Heidefriedhof is managed by Städtisches Friedhofs- und Bestattungswesen Dresden, a municipal enterprise of the City of Dresden. The cemetery office deals with plot allocation, usage rights, grave references and arrangements on the grounds.

The office building is near the main entrance on Moritzburger Landstraße. Arrange a time in advance for detailed advice. Access to the cemetery grounds is longer than the office schedule and is shown separately under Opening hours.
Preparing an enquiry
For a grave enquiry, provide the name, life dates and any existing grave reference. For usage rights or a renewal, have the previous paperwork and plot details available. A burial application requires the deceased person’s personal details and death certificate; arrangements can be coordinated with the funeral director.
The funeral hall has a main room seating 80 and a smaller room for up to 15 people. Discuss room choice, music and viewing arrangements when organising the ceremony.
Before commissioning grave care, a monument or work requiring special vehicle access, check the relevant section’s conditions. The service providers listed on this guide operate independently of the cemetery office.
