Heidefriedhof Dresden has two seasonal access schedules. Longer evening opening starts in April and ends in November. These hours apply daily to the cemetery grounds. For a funeral, follow the separately agreed ceremony time as well.
Walking from an entrance to the hall, a memorial or an individual grave takes time. Begin your return early enough to leave before closing. Wind, snow or closed sections may affect your route; follow notices and barriers on site.

The office is at Moritzburger Landstraße 299. Tuesday afternoons differ between seasons: from April to October the office closes at 17:00; from November to March it closes at 15:30. The table includes the midday break.
Arrange the right appointment
For burial advice, selecting a plot or a more detailed grave enquiry, contact the office in advance on +49 351 8498958. Specify Heidefriedhof and the reason for your visit. Access through an open cemetery gate does not mean the office is staffed.
